Anies Salam 2 Jari, Gerindra: That's 4 Fingers, The Jak Symbol

Suara press. Jakarta - Gerindra DKI considers that there is nothing wrong with the Jakarta Governor Governor's two-finger greeting Anies Baswedan at the Gerindra National Conference yesterday. Gerindra considers Anies posing four fingers.

"Four fingers, please. If we are just one (hand) like this two fingers, if Mr. Anies is four (fingers). That is an association, is associated with two fingers, even though there are four fingers in my opinion," said Deputy Chairperson of DKI Gerindra Party DPD Jakarta Syarif when met at the DKI DPRD Building, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (12/18/2018).

Regarding the reporting of Anies in the Election Supervisory Body, Syarif assessed that it was the right of those who felt they were not suitable. Anies, said Syarif, has the right to give an explanation if called by Bawaslu.

"Yes, right of people when they see something that is not suitable, there are allegations of violations reported, right, rights and rights of Mr. Anies to clarify if called," he said.

Syarif then confirmed that the two-finger gesture that held up a thumb and index finger was not an official symbol of the presidential campaign 02. Syarif also had the gesture shown by Anies because he still felt the euphoria of Persija's victory.

"I say that it is not a symbol of our campaign, it must be noted, Gerindra said this is not a symbol of our campaign. It is not the community's enthusiasm, not the team," he explained.

He also continued, Anies did not conduct a campaign at the Gerindra National Conference yesterday so that there was nothing wrong done by Anies.

"The name of the campaign invites there are symbols, self-image, numbers and pictures. Anies, for example, don't forget to choose Prabowo-Sandi, that's the campaign. If this (index and thumb). The Jak. He still doesn't smell it ... (The euphoria of the Jak's victory), "Syarif said.
